The final season finds Daryl, Maggie, and our heroes on a fraught mission with Negan to confront the mysterious Reapers. Meanwhile, Eugene’s group must assimilate to the Commonwealth in order to get aid for Alexandria.

“For the final season of The Walking Dead, Ghost VFX worked closely with Showrunner Angela Kang, Producer Ryan DeGard, VFX Supervisor Aaron McLane, and VFX Producer Jamie Cernich. The scope and feel for the final season are epic and the visual effects had to support that. We did everything - walker kills, zombie hordes, crowds, swarms of locusts, set extensions… If there’s a way to kill zombies, The Walking Dead has done it and that means we’ve done it. Starting with Season 7 of the show, Ghost VFX artists in Los Angeles provided a wide range of visual effects services for The Walking Dead. For the epic final season, Ghost VFX artists used any tool that would get the job done – Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Flame – and delivered story-driven effects and thrills that audiences have come to expect from the iconic AMC series.
